Are your added value programs adding value?
A well-executed value add program can be a big winner for everyone. Your client feels like they are appreciated and/or are getting a great deal, you drive incremental business and profit and you hopefully get some positive word of mouth via social media or simply friends telling friends.
However, a poorly designed and executed value add program can leave everyone unhappy; staff who don’t understand or can’t properly explain/upsell the offer, the boss that is looking at the bottom line and, most importantly, the customer who sees no value or feels that the program was designed for you and not for them.
